We have yet another DQ victory from UFC Rio Rancho tonight. This time, it came in the welterweight co-main event between Diego Sanchez and Michel Pereira. Pereira dominated the majority of the fight, and looked to be on his way to a lopsided decision win. However, he landed an illegal knee to Sanchez's head, cutting him open, and causing the fight to be stopped. Sanchez declared he couldn't continue, and was awarded the disqualification win.
