PFL Europe Completes 16-Fight Lineup for Belgium Card in July

A whopping 14 countries will be represented at Professional Fighters League’s Europe event in Belgium next week.

The promotion released its full fight card for PFL Europe 2: 2025 First Round on Thursday, announcing and confirming all 16 fights that would take place on July 5. Notable changes include the withdrawal of bantamweight tourney fighter Alexander Luster, who has been replaced by Tuomas Gronvall (12-8-1) against Dean Garnett (12-3-1). Additionally, local fans see another talent from the nation as Movsar Ibragimov (6-0) steps up to battle Gerardo Fanny (14-4). The event will air on Dazn internationally, and the PFL App will be airing the show live for audiences in North America.

After a few of his matches were canceled last year, Garnett stepped into the 2024 semifinals of the PFL Europe tournament. The bantamweight faced eventual champ Lewis McGrillen-Evans, who stormed his way through the grand prix in about six months to claim the $100,000 check and another berth. Meanwhile, the loss for Garnett marked his first via knockout, and it also concluded a four-fight win streak that included a pair of consciousness-depriving bludgeonings in the Hexagone MMA circuit.

Garnett’s opponent Gronvall also appeared in the 2024 PFL Europe bracket at 135 pounds, where he battled Khurshed Kakhorov and got starched with one punch in the third round. His bounce-back performance did not go his way last September, as he fell short against Ciaran Clarke on the scorecards to put himself on the first losing streak of his career. Of note, the lone stoppage loss of his 21-fight career came courtesy of Kakhorov’s right hand.
