LFA 67 Results: James Dominates Martin, Earns Title Shot for Vacant Heavyweight Belt

Legacy Fighting Alliance was back on Friday night for LFA 67 where a heavyweight fight was headlining the card as Daniel James was taking on Patrick Martin. It was also the first fight of LFA's heavyweight tournament where the winner advances to fight for the vacant title.

The main event saw the two heavyweights in James and Martin collide. "The Predator" was solid from the get-go and came out guns blazing. He ended up taking down his opponent and landing some vicious ground and pound on Martin to force the ref to intervene. With the win, he now advances to fight for the vacant heavyweight title and improved to 9-3.

In the co-main event it was a back-and-forth affair with Jaleel Willis edging out a decision win over Dakota Bush. The win pushed Willis to 10-2 showing he is a lightweight prospect to watch. Bush, on the other hand, fell to 6-2 which will no doubt be a setback to him.

In other action, T.J. Brown had a beautiful head kick knockout over Ken Beverly in the first round. Chris Hatley knocked out Terry Britton in the first round via a left hook and hammerfists. While, Mike Breeden ended the night of Chel Erwin-Davis by body punch in the third round, and Ronnie Lawrence improved to 5-1 with a decision win over Garrett Armfield.

Meanwhile, in the prelim bouts, Kyron Bowen beat DiMarcco Hutchinson by second-round submission. In the middleweight division, Rance Foust knocked out Bradley Toth to get his first professional win. In two featherweight scraps, Quinten Davidson earned a decision win over David Hemphill, while Samuel Robinson beat Kyle Campbell by first-round knockout to climb to 3-0. In the first fight of the night, Andy Rice got his first professional win as he won by unanimous decision.
