Rosta: I Have More Power Than Johnny Eblen
“If he wants to trade early, and he is actually confident in what he is saying, thinks he can put me away – he’s going to get the bad end of that,” Rosta told Home of Fight. ”He already got knocked out by Johnny Eblen. I have s—t ton more power than Johnny Eblen… I’m quicker, I’m faster, I’m more explosive. Fabian is going to be in for a short night if that’s the way we are doing it… And if he tries to point fight me like he always does… I’m gonna pressure him, stay in his face and I’m gonna make it a long f—ing night. I’m gonna brutally beat this dude’s ass.”
Rosta started his PFL tournament journey with a submission win over former champ Sadibou Sy. Rosta followed it up by avenging his lone career loss against Aaron Jeffery to advance to the finals. Meanwhile, Edwards finished 2023 light heavyweight tournament winner Impa Kasanganay and earned a decision win over Joshua Silveira to reach the finals. The winner of the middleweight tournament will look to challenge the champion, Costello van Steenis, who recently won the title against Johnny Eblen in a massive upset.
