Felicia Spencer fancies herself the iceberg and Amanda Nunes the Titanic.

Spencer will challenge Nunes for the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s featherweight title in the UFC 250 main event on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, where she looks to hand the “Lioness” her first defeat in nearly six years. Meanwhile, former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt attempts to recapture some of his past magic in the three-round co-headliner opposite Raphael Assuncao.

Nunes, who has not competed at 145 pounds since she dethroned Cristiane Justino in 2018, finds herself on a 10-fight winning streak. The American Top Team export last fought at UFC 245, where she retained her bantamweight crown with a unanimous decision over Germaine de Randamie on Dec. 14. Nunes, 32, carries widespread acclaim as the greatest female fighter of all-time, her resume anchored by victories over Justino, Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, Julia Budd and Valentina Shevchenko (twice).

Spencer rebounded from her first professional setback—a unanimous decision loss to the aforementioned “Cyborg”—by putting away Zarah Fairn dos Santos with elbows and punches in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 169 encounter in February. Operating out of The Jungle MMA, the Florida-based Canadian holds the rank of black belt in taekwondo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Spencer has delivered six of her eight professional wins by knockout, technical knockout or submission.

UFC 250 “Nunes vs. Spencer”—which streams live to ESPN+ pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT—will also feature a welterweight tilt matching Neil Magny with Anthony Rocco Martin and a pair of bantamweight affairs, as former Ring of Combat titleholder Aljamain Sterling meets Elevation Fight Team standout Cory Sandhagen and undefeated MMA Lab prospect Sean O'Malley faces ex-World Extreme Cagefighting champion Eddie Wineland. ESPN and ESPN+ (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT) will share coverage of the seven-fight undercard, along with UFC Fight Pass (6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT).
