Phil De Fries Is Already Focused on His Next Challenger at KSW 79

Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki heavyweight titleholder Phil De Fries will put his championship on the line at KSW 79.

De Fries (22-6, 1 NC; 8-0 KSW) recently scored his seventh title defense after forcing Ricardo Prasel to tap due to a nasty neck crank in the opening frame of their KSW 74 encounter. The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Bellator MMA alum has been running the heavyweight division since 2018, when he captured the belt after smashing Michal Andryszak with punches in Round 1. De Fries will return to the cage for KSW’s first foray into the Czech Republic at KSW 79 on Feb. 25 as he takes on a yet-to-be-announced opponent.
