JALEEL WILLIS LOOKS TO STAY UNBEATEN

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Jaleel Willis has yet to taste defeat in his MMA career. He finished his amateur career with a perfect record of 10-0 and the V3Fights’ lightweight champion. He is now 1-0 as a pro and will look to continue that momentum on June 21 when he takes on Adam Nash at The Cannon Center in downtown Memphis, TN. Nash has been calling out Willis for quite some time, and on June 21 the two will finally square off.

Willis trains at Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu and is evolving every day as a mixed martial artist. Although many still consider him a wrestler, he has shown the V3Legion that he has knockout power in both hands.

As far as this upcoming fight goes, Willis seems to have the advantage as far as athleticism goes, but the rest remains to be seen. Nash grew up in the wrestling state of Ohio, and a lot of people are curious to see how their wrestling stacks up to each other. However, Willis doesn’t seem too worried:

“Man I’ve beaten guys from Ohio. I’ve wrestled on a national circuit before” states Willis.

But Willis has improved drastically since starting in MMA. In fact, most of his wins inside of the V3 cage have come by way of knockout. On June 21, Willis is in for the biggest fight of his young career when he steps into the cage with Nash, but he seems pretty confident.

“Everyone is going to see that I am more than a wrestler. I see this fight going the distance. I’m glad I’m finally get to get up with the dude, but I could care less about my opponent, I just want to beat his a##. I can’t wait to get back into the V3 cage and compete the way I always do. I promise you that I’m evolving more and more everyday!”

Memphis has something special with this athlete. The sky is the limit for him. Don't miss the opportunity to see him compete in his home town!
