In the UFC 201 co-feature, unbeaten Polish strawweight Karolina Kowalkiewicz likely earned herself a shot at her countrywoman Joanna Jedrzejczyk, but Kowalkiewicz's unanimous decision win over Rose Namajunas also netted her $38,000; Namajunas made $46,000 to show.

Outside of the welterweight championship headliner, the evening's biggest earner was 170-pound vet Jake Ellenberger, who shocked Matt Brown with a body kick knockout in the first round. Ellenberger, who entered the bout 1-5 in his previous six bouts, but made $150,000 for his upset win, which doesn't include his $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus.
