By The Numbers: Israel Adesanya vs. Nassourdine Imavov

Israel Adesanya already experienced life at the top of the Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight division, and he would like nothing more than to return to it.

“The Last Stylebender” will look to restart his climb back to the throne when he confronts Nassourdine Imavov in the UFC Fight Night 250 headliner on Saturday at anb Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Adesanya enters the cage on the heels of back-to-back losses for the first time as a pro. The City Kickboxing star last suited up at UFC 305, where he tapped to a fourth-round face crank from Dricus Du Plessis in a failed attempt to reclaim the undisputed middleweight title on Aug. 17. Imavov, meanwhile, finds himself on a three-fight winning streak. The MMA Factory product last competed on Sept. 28, when he laid claim to a unanimous decision over Brendan Allen in their three-round UFC Fight Night 243 pairing.
